The final plenary session of the first year of the project “Quantifying the Impact of European Food Banks – From Farm to Fork" took place on 9 February in virtual mode. It was open to the entire FEBA membership with more than 50 participants. It was the occasion to go through the journey started in March 2020 and present the first release of the online Observatory on Food Donation. The project, which is coordinated by FEBA, has been developed thanks to the involvement of a Pilot Group of 8 FEBA members (Belgium, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Norway, Spain and the UK) and external experts. The project is still in its initial stage and the aim is to continue developing the online Observatory and involve even more FEBA members in this process of data collection and digital transformation.
