The Bulgarian Food Bank (Bulgaria) is collaborating in an Easter campaign that provides meals for those in need worth up to a total of 30.000 EUR. By ordering food via an app, with each meal, individuals contribute to donations given to the food bank. The campaign is running from March 23 to April 12, 2026. Through this collaboration, Bulgarian Food Bank beneficiaries should receive approximately 424,200 meals, covering their needs for seven months.
Bulgarian Food Bank is the largest national charity dedicated to reducing food insecurity by rescuing surplus food and distributing essential products to vulnerable groups across the country. The Food Bank takes good-quality surplus food across the supply chain, and distributes it to nearly 330 frontline charities, services, and community groups that care for more than 88 000 elderly people, children, and families facing hardship.
“The Easter campaign is more than a fundraising effort: it is an invitation to share from the heart, because every small act of generosity becomes a powerful force for change. This support comes at a crucial moment for the people we serve. It enables us to deliver rescued food and nutritious meals for thousands of children, elderly people, and families who rely on us throughout the year. For them, it means comfort, security, and the reassurance that they are not alone.“ Tzanka Milanova, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Food Bank.
