FEBA, in collaboration with the European Food Forum, is organising a high-level event at the European Parliament on 29 September 2026, held within the framework of the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste.
Entitled “Tackling Food Loss and Waste: From Production to Redistribution“, and hosted by MEP Benoit Cassart, the event will bring together representatives of the European institutions, Member States, academia, civil society organisations, food banks, and key actors from across the food supply chain to discuss solutions for reducing food loss and waste while strengthening food security, environmental sustainability and social cohesion.

On the same day, FEBA is organising is annual Partners’ event, A Taste of Thanks, which will be an evening cocktail where partners can meet and network with peers and fellow supporters of FEBA. Together, we will celebrate partners’ impact in the fight against food waste and hunger, hear from experts about the power of partnership and learn from each other’s perspectives.
