In 2024, the FEBA Annual Forum on Food Aid and Social Inclusion was organised by FEBA in the form of an online webinar. While the 2022 edition focused on convening FEBA Members and other stakeholders and experts to take stock of the most important policies at the EU level on social inclusion and food aid measures such as the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived, REACT-EU, CARE, and the European Social Fund Plus, it also allowed for the presentation of recent legislative developments to prevent food waste in Moldova and Romania.
The 2024 FEBA Annual Forum on Food Aid and Social Inclusion focused on various measures and activities of food aid and their role in fostering social inclusion. The introduction was made by Esteban Arriaga, CEO of FEBA, with the theme: “How material support can pave the way for social Inclusion”.
