Proposal for the Common Agricultural Policy

In this position paper, FEBA, representing Food Banks from across 30 European countries, advocates for the integration of farm payments covering or subsidising the cost of surplus food recovery from primary production into the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). By securing financial support for farmers, this
initiative aims to prevent food waste at its source and keep healthy, good-quality food where it is needed in the human supply chain
