About Nestlé

Nestlé is the world’s largest food and beverage company, present in 185 countries with a portfolio of over 2,000 brands. Driven by its purpose to unlock the power of food to enhance quality of life for everyone, Nestlé is committed to advancing sustainable food systems, supporting communities, and promoting food security worldwide.

A Long-Standing Commitment to Food Banks
Nestlé has been a long-time ally in the fight against hunger and food waste. In Europe, the company has supported several members of FEBA for over 20 years, donating surplus food, fostering employee volunteering, and helping communities access safe, nutritious food. These collaborations are built on trust, shared values, and a common goal of reducing food insecurity through food waste prevention.
Formalising a Global Alliance
To further amplify its impact, Nestlé partnered with FEBA, The Global Food Banking Network (GFN), and Feeding America to create the Nestlé Food Bank Alliance in June 2025; a global collaboration bringing together three leading food banking networks: FEBA in Europe, Feeding America in the United States, and GFN in over 50 countries worldwide. Together, the alliance recognises food banks as trusted partners in surplus food redistribution and food system sustainability
Strengthening Connections and Driving Impact

Through the alliance, Nestlé supports strong local and regional partnerships by facilitating product donations, promoting employee engagement, and sharing practical tools and best practices across markets. The partnership emphasises transparent, data-driven reporting, enabling partners to track global impact and continuously improve collaboration
By combining global reach, local action, and shared expertise, Nestlé and FEBA are scaling solutions that reduce food waste, strengthen food security, and support more sustainable and equitable food systems worldwide.
