On 17 March 2026, Daniela Varga and Luisa Fadel, members of our Data & Impact Team, represented FEBA at the ESF+ Data Support Centre’s 8th Data Network Meeting. This was a key moment to explore how to better monitor actions addressing material deprivation across Europe.
Bringing together member states, the European Commission, and field experts, the meeting created a valuable space to exchange experiences and strengthen how ESF+ programmes delivering food and material support are assessed and improved.
During the session on the SO(m) structured survey, Luisa Fadel contributed with insights from FEBA’s 2024 evaluation of the ESF+ Programme across 10 member organisations. Her intervention highlighted the impact behind the data, sharing lessons learned from the survey and its accompanying report, and amplifying the perspective of Europe’s food banks in shaping more effective monitoring approaches.
FEBA warmly thanks the organisers for the invitation and all participants for the engaging discussion.
