2021 was a milestone marking the 35th Anniversary of FEBA. Since 1986, the organisation has contributed to reducing food insecurity in Europe through food waste prevention and the call for solidarity. FEBA has fostered the development and creation of a network of Food Banks throughout Europe to save good and nutritious food from becoming waste and assist charitable organisations in providing food to an increasing number of people in need. The 35th Anniversary was a special occasion to unite the network and the first opportunity for FEBA Members to meet again physically after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
