FEBA President Celebrates The Swiss Food Bank Fondation Partage’s Two-Decade Impact

On November 20, the Swiss Food Bank ‘Fondation Partage’ celebrated its 20th anniversary at the Théâtre de Carouge, surrounded by its partners, volunteers, associations, and donors. The program included inspiring speeches and a performance of Les Bijoux de la Castafiore, followed by a convivial cocktail dinner.
In twenty years, Partage has become a central player in Geneva’s social economy, structuring the collection and redistribution of food around its three core missions: food aid, the fight against waste, and professional reintegration.

Since 2005, Partage has distributed more than 41 million meals in the canton to provide food assistance to those who needed it. This evening was also an opportunity to reaffirm that the strength of Partage lies in the close cooperation between local actors—a Geneva model that combines social impact, environmental responsibility, and respect for dignity. Our President, Bernard Valluis, also spoke at the event, proudly representing the European Federation of Food Banks and celebrating the significant impact of Partage, one of its esteemed members.
