FEBA frequently looks for trainees in the field of EU Policy and Advocacy
(minimum duration of five months in Brussels).
Outline of tasks:
- Contribution to the mission of the organisation and in particular to undertake duties and activities dealing with EU policy and advocacy, including the monitoring and analysis of EU-level developments in policy and legislation;
- Drafting of briefing documents, reports, and articles, and preparation of PPT presentations;
- Exchange of information with FEBA Members in particular, the FEBA EU Working Group;
- Participation in (online) meetings, webinars, conferences or other events organised by EU institutions, international organisations, or other stakeholders related to the mission and activities of FEBA;
- Support of and collaboration with the FEBA Team, in particular the Secretary General, the Assistant to the SG, and the EU Policy & Advocacy Officer;
- Contribution to the daily running of the organisation.
Required skills and competences:
- University degree, or equivalent title, preferably in the field of Political Sciences, International Relations, European Studies, Management, or related areas;
- Excellent written and spoken English and/or French. Knowledge of additional language(s) would be an asset;
- Excellent communication and analytical skills;
- Capacity to work independently, efficiently, and proactively as well as in a multicultural team and network;
- Ability to build harmonious and productive relationships internally and externally;
- Availability and flexibility to carry out tasks of different nature and related to different activities;
- Committed to promoting the mission and values of the organisation;
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office; and Experience in the non-profit sector would be an asset.
