The last weekend of April marked the 11th Annual Eurostep Challenge, an inspiring student-led initiative to raise funds for FEBA member Voedselbanken Amsterdam. Organised by Eurofeel, a student society based at Sciences Po University in Bordeaux, Eurostep is a unique hitchhiking race that has seen students raise funds for food banks across Europe since its inception in 2013.
This year’s edition saw over 170 students participate in teams of 2–3, racing from Bordeaux to Amsterdam, all while raising vital funds for the Voedselbanken Amsterdam and raising awareness more broadly for the mission of the European Food Banks Federation and it’s members. We are thrilled to share that this year’s event raised a record-breaking €16,846 for Voedselbanken Amsterdam—bringing the total raised since the challenge began to over €76.574,47
A heartfelt thank you to all the teams who took part and contributed to this extraordinary achievement!
