The The Federația Băncilor pentru Alimente din România (FBAR) organised a 3-day team building session on 6 May 2022. 42 Food Bankers from the 9 regional Food Banks of Bucuresti, Brasov, Cluj, Costanta, Craiova, Galati, Oradea, Roman and Timisoara joined together in Brasov, Romania.
It was a great opportunity to spend time together and to discuss important topics for the development of the Food Banks in Romania. The European Food Banks Federation (FEBA) was represented by the Secretary General, Angela Frigo, who share updates and information about the activity of European Food Banks in 2021 and the current support to the people of Ukraine. In the days spent together, topics such as 2021 data about the activity; the Ukraine crisis, and the support of Banca pentru Alimente to Ukrainians in Ukraine delivering food to Chernivtsi and the refugees in Romania and Moldova; procedures to ensure hygiene and food safety; fundraising; and communication and visual identity.
