The Czech Federation of Food Banks hosted a two-day visit from representatives of the Slovak government and the Platform for Food Aid Slovakia, an umbrella organisation of eight Slovak nonprofits.
The guests saw the team in action at the Central Food Bank as they prepared food parcels. They also visited the Food Bank of Prague, the Central Bohemian Region, and one of the food aid dispensaries, where the local member showed its operation and best practices.
The Czech member wishes the Slovak delegation great success with their new “REDIPOM” project, which aims to create a unified food redistribution system in their country, where one in six people is at risk of poverty or social exclusion. FEBA proudly adds its name to this wish.
