FEAD Community – Thematic Seminar on ‘New beneficiaries of FEAD-funded measures and new practices implemented during the Covid-19 crisis’

On 2-3 February 2021, the FEAD Community organized the first Thematic Seminar on ‘New beneficiaries of FEAD-funded measures and new practices implemented during the Covid-19 crisis’

The FEAD Community is an open membership network for people providing assistance to the most deprived in Europe. This includes national FEAD Managing Authorities, organisations delivering or interested in FEAD-funded activities, EU level NGOs and EU institutions.

The Thematic Seminar explored how measures for the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD)?were adapted to address the needs of new beneficiaries and how new practices were implemented in response to the COVID-19 crisis. The seminarprovided an opportunity to identify and discuss innovative, promising or good practices from the host country (France), as well as from other Member States, and also to look ahead towards the new programming period and the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+)

FEBA and some of its members actively participated, both in the plenary sessions and in the virtual working tables bringing best practices, new challenges and expertise.
