Skill sharing in Milan

On October 12th-13th, 15 participants from 14 countries came to Milan to join the “Skill sharing session on fundraising” organized by FEBA in collaboration with the Italian Federation, Banco Alimentare Onlus. 

During the two-day session, particpants were guided through the various techniques and strategies to gain new corporate partnerships. This subject was explored from a psychological point of view by Stefano Gheno, Professor of Psychology of Human Resources, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, who kicked of the first day with a session about: The donation as a relational experience. 

To complement this aspect of fundraising, Daniel Nicholls, fundraiser at FareShare in the UK, gave a insightful session on the importance of communication and the ability to raise funding from either individuals or enterprises.
